πᾶς
pâs · word · “all, every, the whole”
Pas means all, every, the whole — and reaches everywhere in the New Testament. "All (panta) have sinned"; "in him all (panta) things hold together."
Pas can sweep in totality (all things), distribute over every member (every one), or emphasize the whole (the whole law).
The cosmic weight of pas comes out in Colossians 1: in Christ pas was created, pas holds together, pas is reconciled to God through the blood of his cross.
Definition: all, any, every, the whole
KJV usage: all (manner of, means), alway(-s), any (one), X daily, + ever, every (one, way), as many as, + no(-thing), X thoroughly, whatsoever, whole, whosoever
