Scripture is direct about this. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9). Salvation comes through faith in Christ.
This faith is more than agreeing to facts; it includes turning away from sin (repentance) and entrusting yourself to Jesus as Lord. It is not a reward for being good enough — “by grace you have been saved through faith … it is the gift of God, not by works” (Ephesians 2:8–9).
