Isaac
The promised son of Abraham and Sarah, through whom God continued his covenant.
Born to Abraham and Sarah in their old age, Isaac was the child of promise. God tested Abraham by asking him to offer Isaac, then provided a substitute.
Isaac married Rebekah and fathered Jacob and Esau. God reaffirmed to him the covenant promises first given to Abraham.
