Bethlehem
A small town near Jerusalem, the birthplace of King David and of Jesus, fulfilling Micah’s prophecy.
Called the ‘city of David,’ Bethlehem was the setting of the book of Ruth and David’s hometown. Its name means ‘house of bread.’
